Corporate Refugees don't remain start ups for ever - we can also help at later stages by acting as virtual non-exec FDs to slightly bigger businesses, including preparing businesses for eventual sale and the exit of the owner(s). We have embraced the digital revolution, originally becoming Xero certified in 2013 and are currently Xero Gold Champions. Every member of our crew has worked hard to acquire the full set of Xero Advisor certifications. We are now busily exploring the growing app ecosystem (or is that "appmosphere" as Dave Pinkham suggested?).

Pinkham Blair is a 2 partner firm based in the Old Town district of Hemel Hempstead in Hertfordshire. Pinkham Blair was founded on 1 November 2004.

The partners are relatively young (Derek 43, David 46) are dynamic and we are absolutely passionate about what we do.

David is an expert in dealing with family businesses and Derek (whilst remaining a general practitioner) has 10 years of corporate transaction (M&A) experience.

We are distinctive in that we perform all of our work for pre-agreed fixed fees and most of our clients take advantage of our system of collecting payment by monthly standing order (spreading the costs of our services throughout the year).

With only a few rare and usually temporary exceptions, we do not charge for our time - we charge only a pre-agreed price for the services we are asked to provide. WE DO NOT FILL IN TIMESHEETS!

David Pinkham and Derek Blair were both formerly partners in a medium-sized practice, Morgan Brown & Spofforth (which became Vantis plc in May 2002), having joined Morgan Brown & Spofforth within a couple of weeks of each other in 1995.
